UFC 210 Multi
UFC 210 goes down in Buffalo, New York this weekend, we’ve created a special multi for the main card that we think is a massive chance!

Chris Weidman vs Gegard Mousasi
This is a fantastic co-main event and will go a long way to deciding who is next in line for the middleweight title. Former champion Chris Weidman is riding a two fight losing streak, but still has one of the most of well-rounded round skill sets in the division. Striking aficionado Gegard Mousasi is on a tear right now. He has won 6 of his last 7 and after 49 professional fights seems to be in career best form. This will be close, Mousasi has a striking edge, but Weidman is the stronger grappler. I expect Mousasi’s jab and striking accuracy to get him the win, but I’m going to bet on this fight to go to decision.

Thiago Alves vs Patrick Cote
This is a matchup between two former title challengers; a decade after their primes. But both are still dangerous strikers; Thiago Alves is a Muay Thai specialist with brutal leg kicks and Patrick Cote is a big, powerful brawler. These are two finishers who have kept their power, but are starting to lose reaction time, defence and chin; I smell a finish coming. I’m on the fight not to go to decision.

Will Brooks vs Charles Oliveira
Bellator’s former lightweight champion Will Brooks welcomes submission expert Charles Oliveira to the lightweight division. Oliveira’s grappling prowess means he’s submission chance against anyone on the roster. However Brooks is a bad style match up here. Brooks will have a striking edge and when the fight does hit the mat, his strong wrestling game should be enough to win rounds and avoid the sub.

Myles Jury vs Mike de la Torre
Myles Jury was once one of the hottest prospects in the lightweight division. He was 15-0 and had 6 straight UFC wins; but losses to Cowboy Cerrone and Charles Oliveira derailed the hype train. Mike de la Torre is 3-3 in the UFC and has struggled against even low level UFC opposition. Unless Jury’s confidence is completed shattered I think he completely outclasses De la Torre here.

Gregor Gillespie vs Andrew Holbrook
This is an interesting match-up between two up and coming fighters with really impressive records. Both are traditionally wrestlers, with still evolving striking games. I expect the two wrestling games to cancel each other out and this should turn into more of a kickboxing match with potentially plenty of clinches against the cage. I think Gillespie is probably the better prospect and should earn a decision; but my bet will be on the over 2.5 rounds
