The Bet King’s NRL Round 13 ‘Pick of the Week’
The Bet King’s NRL Betting Tip of the Week for Round 13.
The Panthers = Struggling.
After another loss last week and the Panthers are set for another reshuffle.
Matt Moylan and Robert Jennings are both out injured, and Jamie Soward is unlikely to suit up after a brutal hit last week by Parramatta’s Pauli Pauli. Waqa Blake slides across to the wing, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak into Fullback and Dean Whare in the centre.
Panthers are 5 wins 6 losses, averaging 17 points per game. Looking at the Stats, defensively Elijah Taylor is their best player, which isn’t saying much.
Let’s talk storm…
As usual Storm is sticking with what works – plus the inclusion of Billy Slater who is replacing Cameron Munster. With Slater returning, Cooper Cronk and the underperforming (Origin was and is an exception) Cameron Smith should be able to reunite as the big 3. At this point Storm has named an extended 7 man bench, 3 of whom won’t make the cut.
Last week the Storm struggled. Let’s put that down to the origin period. The quick turn around this week will play a part in the outcome of this game, but Storm should be able to rise, and we’ll see the Storm move to 7 wins and 4 losses.
Storm score, averaging 20.20 points per game, and are consistently only allowing an average of 13.
Our bet of the week is Melbourne Storm @ $2. By the historical numbers Storm should win. This week marks the 29th time these two teams have faced off and Storm have taken home the bacon on 21 occasions, as well as winning 7 of the 12 games played at the Panthers home ground Pepper Stadium.
Storm isn’t exceeding expectations this season, But with Penrith’s current line up and injury list, Storm will come out victorious in this one.
