The Bet King’s AFL Round 9 ‘Pick of the Week’

The Bet King is back with the AFL Betting ‘Pick of the Week’ for Round 9.

The game we will be looking at is North Melbourne Kangaroos Vs. Collingwood Magpies. This one seems like the perfect candidate this weekend with the Roos at $1.70 looking like value.

The game takes place on Sunday afternoon at the MCG and while the Pies have won three of the last five games against the Roos, we expect this one to go to the blue and white.

Despite being fifth on the ladder we are still yet to see how good the Magpies are this year and in fact, if the Richmond game two weeks ago is anything to go by, they are very beatable.

The big indictment on the Roos going into this game is their effort against the Dockers last week. If they play like that again, they will lose this game. But they are a good side and teams like that bounce back – and certainly at least give it enough of a crack to get 12 points ahead at some point in the game.

If we go back to North Melbourne’s form two weeks ago, they were great against the Bombers on a Friday night and even better the week before against the Tigers.

The Pies did smash the Suns last week, but that was barely a contest and barely a preparation for this game. North Melbourne are going to bring the goods and we think they are a good enough side to get on in this instance.
