One key factor with this game is the pressure that the Swans apply. It’s simply going to be too hot for the Tigers. The Swans tackle on average 72 times a game which puts them third in the league. The Tigers, meanwhile are ranked 14th in this category.

The Swans are also better at contested football than the Tigers and their effective disposal percentage is much stronger. This all indicates that it’s just going to be too hard for the Swans to direct the ball around the SCG.

Another point to consider here is that the Tigers started to show some cracks last week in their loss against the Eagles. They were really looking like the need the bye to come. They need a rest like the Swans had last week. So, Sydney are fresh and the Tigers are tired.
