A-league Round 26 Betting Multi
The 2015-16 A-league season continues this weekend and we will be taking a look at four of the best value matches and offering our Round 26 betting multi.
To start things off we will be backing the Western Sydney Wanderers to defeat the Central Coast Mariners on home soil. The Wanderers have slipped to 4th place on the ladder and will need to take advantage of coming up against the bottom placed Mariners to regain some form as they head into the finals series. The Wanderers were leading the way for the majority of the season but have hit a form slump at the wrong time of the season. Meanwhile the Mariners have failed to keep a clean sheet this entire season and could become the lowest ever points scoring team in A-league history if they fail to get two wins in their last two games. The Wanderers will be far superior than the Mariners, especially on home soil.
The Victory returned to their best last week as they earned a convincing win against the Wanderers. The side has struggled of late and had just the one victory against the Mariners in their past two months as they fell down the ladder. It could be a perfect kick-start for the side as they head into the finals series. Meanwhile the Phoenix only has pride to play for and their poor performance last week on home soil suggests they won’t be turning up to play at a high level. They fell 3-0 to Melbourne City who was without two of their best players and the Victory will be at nearly full strength this weekend.
The Brisbane Roar earned another massive victory last week, as they held of the Sky Blues in a thrilling 3-2 contest. It moved the side to equal first place on the ladder and they will be searching for a big win in this one as they take on the Newcastle Jets. The two previous times these sides met this season the match has ended in a draw but we expect the result to be different this time as it will be the first match held on Brisbane’s home soil. The Roar has made Suncorp a fortress this season and they will earn the three points on home soil.
In the final leg we will be backing the two in form teams of the competition to play out a draw. Perth Glory and Melbourne City are both on four game winning streaks it has seen both of the sides climb up the ladder in recent weeks. The Glory has just one loss to their name this year whilst the City has improved drastically in the area they lacked the most throughout the season. Their defence has been tightened up as the acquisition of Alex Wilkinson has been a great positive for the side. They are now one of the best defensive teams in the competition whilst still being the most threatening in attack. We are backing them to push the Glory in this one but the home side will be able to salvage a point in this one.
