A-league Round 22 Betting Multi
The 2015-16 A-league season continues this weekend as we have reached round 22 of the competition. We take a look at four of the biggest games of the weekend and offer our multi of the week.
In the opening match of the round we will be backing the Roar’s torrid run to continue as they take on the top of the table Wanderers on home soil. The Roar has suffered back-to-back losses by three goals and have conceded a total of 9 goals in two matches. Their defence has fallen to pieces and they need to find a solution quickly with the finals series approaching and the ladder congested at the top of the table. Meanwhile the Wanderers found a way to win against the most in form team in the competition and we expect them to do the same this weekend.
In our second leg we will be backing the Reds to continue their incredible run and earn a victory against the Wellington Phoenix. Adelaide United haven’t lost since round 8 and have moved into second position on the ladder. Their 3-0 demolition of the Roar would have put every team on notice and it is clear that the Reds are currently the team to beat. The Phoenix have improved in recent weeks by winning two of their last three matches but it will be a different challenge for them this weekend with the Reds being strong on both ends of the field.
Melbourne Victory has entered one of the biggest slumps in the clubs history as they have gone five matches without a win. This is their worst run since 07-08 but we believe it will come to an end this weekend when they take on the Central Coast Mariners. The Victory come up against the worst defence in the league as the Mariners are still without a clean sheet and aren’t much better in attack. The Victory should be able to return to full confidence this weekend and they will be hoping Besart Berisha can return to the goal scoring form he has shown throughout his time in the A-league.
In the final leg of our multi we will be picking the Glory to bounce back from their loss against the Wanderers last week. The Glory was on a five game winning streak and are currently sitting in sixth position. They are within pouncing distance of the finals series and they can’t afford to suffer back-to-back losses. They faced the Jets a little over a month ago away from home and were able to dominate the entire match and picked up a 6-1 victory. The Glory will be at home in this one and won’t win by the same score line but it will be a comfortable victory.
