A-league Round 21 Betting Multi
The 2015-16 A-league season has reached round 21 and we are offering our best multi for the weekend as we take a look at four big matches.
In our first leg we will be backing the Melbourne City line up to win back-to-back matches and earn victory on the road. They are up against the Wellington Phoenix who returned to the loser’s circle against the Newcastle Jets. The week earlier they shocked everyone with a 5-2 drubbing of the Wanderers however we see that as a one off match. The City have by far the best attack in the league and they have found the back of the net 50 times in just 20 matches. Meanwhile the Phoenix has the second worst defence in the league, which suggests City could score a big win.
The Western Sydney Wanderers have hit a bit of a form slump whilst they come up against the most in form team in the league the Perth Glory. The Glory has won their last six matches and has found their attacking flare. We will be picking them to continue the streak and earn their second victory again the Wanderers away from home. The Wanderers are down on confidence and are without a win in there last three matches. Their biggest issue at the moment is Mitch Nichols has fallen out of form and is having minimal impact on matches. If he doesn’t find a way to get back to his best the Glory will seal an easy victory.
Adelaide United hasn’t lost since round 8 and they earned arguably their best win of the year as they defeated the defending champions on the road. They return to their home soil to take on the Brisbane Roar who suffered a huge loss at the hands of the Glory last week. The Roar has been inconsistent of late and with the Reds finding a way to constantly impact the scoreboard whilst showing great defence, we are backing the in form side to earn the three points.
In our final leg we will be backing the Newcastle jets to earn a win on the road against the Central Coast Mariners. The Jets earned the three points against the Phoenix last week that all but ensured they won’t finish on the bottom of the ladder this season which would be a massive relief for the club. Meanwhile the Mariners let another led slip as they conceded four goals in the final half of the match. Their defence has been woeful all season as they have failed to maintain a clean sheet whilst conceding 49 goals across the 20 games this year. We believe the Jets will earn a comfortable victory but the Mariners will put up a fight.
