A-league Round 20 Betting Multi

The 2015-16 A-league season heats up this weekend with each match increasing in importance as we close in on the finals series. For our Round 20 multi of the week we are predicting a couple of draws to take place and we will utilise a short priced favourite to help get us over the line.

In our first leg we are backing Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United to split the points. The defending champions missed out on an important goal last week due to a refereeing decision and it cost them earning the win against their rivals in the Melbourne derby. The side showed strength in attack whilst it took a couple of special goals from Bruno Fornaroli to crack their defence. Meanwhile the Reds continued their resurgence leaped above the Victory for the first time this season. The side is now sitting in third place and hasn’t lost since the round 8 meeting between these two teams. We are expecting both sides to find themselves on the scorer’s sheet but end up leaving with a point each.

The final Sydney derby for the 2015-16 A-league regular season will take place on Saturday night and we are predicting the Wanderers to get revenge on their two losses earlier in the season against the Sky Blues. In those two contests it was the Wanderers who played at a higher level but they weren’t able to find take advantage of their opportunities they created and ultimately allowed Sydney FC into the match. The Sky Blues won’t be as lucky in this match as the Wanderers will be out for vengeance after their embarrassment against the Phoenix last week.

In the third leg of our multi we will be backing Perth Glory and Brisbane Roar to play out a draw. The Roar would have been disappointed with playing out a draw with the Newcastle Jets but the point saw them rise to the top of the table. Their attacking play has returned after they slumped without Jamie Maclaren. They have scored nine goals in their last three matches and have the second best attack in the league. Meanwhile the Glory are arguably one of the inform sides in the league winning their past four matches and are sitting just one win outside a finals position. They will push the Roar and with the home field advantage it will see them earn a point.

The Central Coast Mariners haven’t been able to keep a clean sheet this entire season and are averaging over two goals conceded. Their defence cost them again on the weekend as they took a 1-0 advantage into halftime only to see it disappear with defensive mistakes costing them. Meanwhile Melbourne City will be full of confidence heading into this contest having already defeated their opponents convincingly twice this season. The 5-1 and 3-1 victories could have easily been worse for the mariners as their defence was constantly torn apart. We are predicting an easy win for Melbourne City in this one.
