A-league Round 17 Betting Multi

As we look to go back to back, we will start this week off with the top of the table clash between the Western Sydney Wanders and Melbourne City. The Wanderers were able to bounce back to winning ways last week but it took until the final minutes for them to score the winner against the bottom placed Mariners. The side has fallen out of form since they were on a seven game winning streak. Meanwhile City is undefeated in their past four matches and picked up a comfortable win against the Phoenix. We are predicting the two sides to split the points in this one.

The Sky Blues suffered yet another defeat at the hands of Melbourne Victory as coach Graham Arnold is still searching for his first defeat against the side since taking over as Sydney FC head coach. The side was unable to find a way to breach the Victory’s defence as goal scoring continues to be an issue for the team. They are at home against the Roar who have struggled in the last couple of weeks conceding four goals on both occasions and finding the back of the net on just one occasion. We will be going against the out of form side in this one and picking the Sky Blues to win.

Melbourne Victory has won back-to-back matches against two big sides and we will be backing the defending champions to keep the winning streak going against Perth Glory. The home side was able to pick up a huge win last week as they defeat the Jets 6-1 in their biggest win of the season. However, they face a much stronger defence this week with the Victory keeping back-to-back clean sheets. The Victory will be too strong as they look to make a push up the ladder towards the finals.

In the final leg of our multi we will be looking to seal things by taking the short priced favourites Adelaide United against the Newcastle Jets. The Reds have continued to revive their season as they have climbed off the bottom of the ladder and are undefeated in their past six matches. Their 4-1 win against the Roar last week away from home has solidified the side as a real threat heading into last third of the season. Whilst the Jets season has continued to decline and they shouldn’t put up much of a fight against the in form Reds.
