A-league Round 13 Betting Multi

The first two legs of our multi were a success last week, which gave us massive hope heading into our final two picks. However, unfortunately both of them were unsuccessful and we are forced to try again this week for a bit more success.

To start things off we will be taking the Wellington Phoenix to defeat the Central Coast Mariners on the road. Despite the Phoenix suffering a big loss at the hands of Adelaide last week, we can’t see them losing to the bottom placed Mariners who also were on the wrong end of a big score last weekend. The home side hasn’t picked up a victory since the opening round of the competition and since then they have only managed just the two competition points over 11 rounds of football. The Phoenix is a much stronger side and they should be able to pick up the three points against the Mariners woeful defence.

In our second leg we will be backing the Western Sydney Wanderers to pick up the victory at home against Adelaide United. The Wanderers are currently on an nine game stretch without a loss and have picked up eight victories over that period. The side is the form team of the competition and has gelled together perfectly since coming together at the start of the season. Adelaide has won three of their last four matches but the task of heading to Western Sydney will be too much for them as they have a poor record at the venue with three losses in four trips.

Melbourne City suffered a disappointing loss last weekend against the Roar after they picked up four big victories leading into the match. The side was full of confidence with Aaron Mooy making a name for himself as the best player in the competition. However, he was able to be contained by the Roar defence and Sydney FC will be looking to repeat the effort of the Roar. They secured a 4-1 victory against the Mariners, which was a much-needed victory whilst they were able to find the back of the net which will boost the confidence of their players. However, we are predicting this match to end in a draw with both sides splitting the points.

In the last leg of our multi we will be backing the Melbourne Victory to break their five game drought without a league victory. The defending champions have been stumbling as of late with four losses in that stretch but the Newcastle Jets have been in similar form as they have gone six matches without a win. The Victory will be desperate to recapture the form that saw them push to the top of the table with four straight wins earlier in the year. The side has too much class and attacking prowess and they should pick up the win in this one.
