A-league Round 11 Betting Multi
We narrowly missed out on cash back up to $100 by using the Sportsbet promotion as we picked two of four legs of our multi from Round 10. This week we will be taking advantage of quality odds on the favourites to hopefully pick up a juicy payday.
In our first leg of the multi we will be backing Adelaide United to pick up their third win in a row as they take on the Newcastle Jets who have been struggling in to score whilst conceding goals at a high rate. The Reds picked up a last minute victory against Sydney FC and were too strong for Glory in the previous week. The match will be close but Adelaide will pick up the away victory.
The second instalment of the Melbourne Derby for 2015 will be held on Saturday night as the City will host the Victory at AAMI Park. The Victory enter the match with current bragging rights after claiming the three points earlier this season, however they have lost their last two matches and failed to find the back of the net in both contests. Meanwhile that hasn’t been an issue for City as they have scored 14 goals in their past three matches, winning each game by four goals. We will be sticking with the side in form in this one as City will get revenge.
The Western Sydney Wanderers have won seven matches in a row and picked up a huge win against the Melbourne Victory. We will be taking them to make it eight straight as they take on Perth Glory who have struggled all season. The Wanderers are a class above and are constantly creating quality chances for their teammates whilst they have shown their defensive class as of late and have conceded just 8 goals all season.
In our final leg we will be taking the Brisbane Roar to pick up the victory on the road against the Central Coast Mariners. The Roar returned to winning ways last week against the Phoenix as they dominated the fixture and created the best chances, capitalising late through Jamie Maclaren as they picked up the 2-1 win. The three points saw them lift into second position on the ladder whilst the Mariners latest loss saw them drop to the bottom. Their one win came way back in round 1 and they haven’t looked like repeating that effort since as their defence has been woeful. They have conceded 23 goals and haven’t been able to keep a clean sheet. The Roar will be able to take advantage of these defensive issues and pick up an easy victory.
