2018 NRL Round 6 Betting Multi
The NRL season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches for our NRL Round 6 Betting Multi.
Roosters vs Rabbitohs (Thursday, Apr 12 7:50pm AEST)
The first leg of our NRL Roaund 6 multi will be the Roosters defeating the Rabbitohs. Last week, they responded from a 30-6 defeat against the Warriors with a comfortable 28-10 win over the Sharks. They have a 3-0 record against the Rabbitohs so that should continue. Their attack is looking hard to stop and that’s dangerous for the Rabbitohs. They’re coming off a close loss against the Dragons 16-12. So they should keep this one close but it’s unlikely they can match the Roosters in the points scoring department. The Roosters are 29-14 as a home side since 2015 and they’ll win this.
Storm vs Knights (Friday, Apr 13 6:00pm AEST)
In the second leg of this multi, we’ll be backing the Storm to rebound against the Knights. Melbourne were again sloppy against the Tigers and lost by a point as a result. But the Storm love playing at AAMI Park and Craig Bellamy won’t be happy with their start to the season. Against the Knights last season, they won 44-12 and 40-12 at this venue. Since 2010, they have a 12-3 record against the Knights and 8-2 at AAMI Park. The Knights are a better side in 2018 with a 3-2 record. But close wins over the Raiders and Broncos doesn’t fill me with confidence. Because they’ve been smashed by the Roosters and Dragons. So the Storm should take advantage of their lacking defence.
Warriors vs Broncos (Saturday, Apr 14 3:00pm AEST)
The third leg will be the Warriors keeping their winning streak going, this time against the Broncos. The Warriors are back at home this week after they comfortably beat the Cowboys 22-12. After a 5-0 start to the season, they’re proving to be a tough team to beat in 2018. They also have a 6-1 record against the Broncos in New Zealand and have won the last two clashes by 18 points. The Broncos are coming off a 15-10 loss against the Knights and just struggle to score points. In their 3 away losses this season, they’ve scored a total of 31 points. They rank 4th last in the NRL for points scored so it’s hard to see them causing an upset. The Warriors are averaging 24 points per match and rank as the 3rd best defence in the NRL. So a 6-0 start is on the cards for the New Zealand Warriors.
Raiders vs Eels (Saturday, Apr 14 7:30pm AEST)
In the fourth leg of this NRL Multi, the Raiders should beat the woeful Eels. After a 0-4 start, the Raiders opened their account with a 26-10 victory over the Bulldogs. It was a Thursday night game, so the extra rest should be a huge advantage over the Eels who played on Sunday afternoon. They’re sitting dead last on the ladder at 0-5 and they just can’t score points. In those 5 losses, they’ve scored a total of just 44 points, which averages at 8.8 per match. So something has gone wrong in the offseason after they made the finals in 2017. The Raiders will enjoy home field advantage and they’re 9-2 against the Eels since 2010.
Panthers vs Titans (Sunday, Apr 15 2:00pm AEST)
In the last leg of our NRL Round 6 multi, the Panthers should be too good for the Titans. For Penrith, they’re back at home after another win over the Eels. They’ve started the season with a 4-1 record and James Maloney is proving to be a great offseason pickup. They have a 3-1 record against the Titans at home and have won the last two clashes at any venue. Credit to the Titans for beating the Sea Eagles last week, but they still lack defensive pressure to beat the Panthers. They rank last in the NRL for points allowed (27.2 per match). They also have an 0-5 record as an away side in day matches since 2017. After playing in Gladstone last week, the trip to Penrith will be tough.
