2018 NRL Round 19 Betting Multi

The NRL season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches for our NRL Round 19 Betting Multi below.

Sharks vs Raiders (Friday, Jul 20 6:00pm AEST)
Our multi for Round 19 starts in Cronulla with a victory to the Sharks. The home side is building nicely for the finals after an 8-2 record in their last 10. At Shark Park, they’ve won 3 of the last 4 and while they don’t have a good record against the Raiders here, that should change. Canberra skipper Jarrod Croker did his knee last week and will miss the rest of the season. It’s a huge blow for the Raiders who can still make the finals. The problem for the away side is their defence and I don’t see that changing against the Sharks at Shark Park. Canberra is ranked 15th in the NRL for points allowed in games away from the Nation’s capital. So they’ll likely have trouble stopping the likes of Holmes on the outside and containing the Sharks massive forward pack.

Broncos vs Panthers (Friday, Jul 20 7:50pm AEST)
The next leg of the multi will head to Brisbane for an upset. Both sides are locked at $1.92 in the odds, however I see value in the Panthers. They’ve added a wealth of talent to their lineup this week after Origin. In the halves, Maloney and Cleary are back. While in the backs, Watene-Zelezniak and Mansour return. They also have a huge forward pack that should worry the Broncos. The home side was poor last week as they were dominated by the Warriors at this venue. They have been an average scoring team at Suncorp this season, scoring just under 20 points per game. The Panthers own the 3rd best overall defence in the NRL, which should see them contain the Broncos for most of this matchup.

Cowboys vs Dragons (Saturday, Jul 21 7:30pm AEST)
The next leg will be the Dragons taking down the Cowboys in North Queensland. While the Dragons haven’t looked their best lately, they should be desperate as they look to finish top 4 before the finals. Meanwhile, the home side is coming off 4 straight losses and have won just twice in their last 10 games. It hasn’t been a great farewell season for JT and it probably won’t change this week. They’re just 2-6 in home games this year and rank 15th in the NRL for points scored when playing as the home side. So the Dragons defence should enjoy this matchup. They’ve also won the last 2 against the Cowboys.

Warriors vs Storm (Sunday, Jul 22 2:00pm AEST)
The fourth leg of our NRL Round 19 multi is the Melbourne Storm defeating the Warriors. The Storm came out of the Origin period with a 6 game winning streak and they’ll be even more confident this week. Slater, Addo-Carr, Munster, Chambers and Kaufusi all return for this trip to New Zealand. Without their star players over the last couple of weeks, they’ve taken down the Dragons at home in a crushing win and outlasted the Sea Eagles at Brookvale last round. So the road-trip to New Zealand shouldn’t be a concern. The home side has lost 3 straight at Mt Smart this season and have also lost 2 in a row here against the Storm. The two sides met earlier in the year and Melbourne again dominated them in a classy 50-10 victory. At the moment, the Warriors are highly inconsistent at home and the Storm should make them pay.

Sea Eagles vs Roosters (Sunday, Jul 22 4:10pm AEST)
The multi for this week ends at Brookvale with a win to the Roosters. Much like the Storm, the Roosters have survived the Origin period with 5 wins in their last 6. Now in Round 19, Tedesco, Mitchell, Cronk, Cordner, Radley and Aubusson are back in the lineup and ready to push for a top 2 finish on the ladder. The Sea Eagles have played in a number of close losses this season, which includes a 1 point loss to the Storm last week. However, the class of the Roosters lineup should be the key difference. Manly has also lost it’s last 3 at Brookvale this season.
