Super Rugby Round 6 Preview
The 2017 Super Rugby season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches in our Round 6 Preview and Betting Tips below.

2017 Super Rugby Round 6 Betting Tips

Highlanders vs Rebels (Friday 5.35pm AEDT)

To kick things off to start the round we will be predicting one way traffic in this match with the Highlanders to kick into gear and put a big scoreline on their Australian opponents. The Highlanders were forced to come from behind against the Brumbies on the road last week but ultimately their experience, composure and talent got them over the line. The side will be looking to build upon that performance and get their season back on track after a sluggish start to the season that saw them face four straight New Zealand conference rivals and only earn the one victory. They are a classy side with talent across the board and they will be too strong in this one.

Meanwhile the Rebels have struggled this season and remain winless. However, heading into the break last week it looked as if their fortunes were changing as they held a 25-6 lead. It was a totally different side in the second half though as they allowed 26 unanswered points and suffered the narrow loss. The side will be feeling it this weekend and any confidence they had left would be in tatters.

TIP: Highlanders to win at the line (-23.5) – $1.90 at William Hill

Blues vs Force (Friday 7.45pm AEDT)

Similar to the Rebels, the Force only turned up for forty minutes last week. The Force have been renowned for that for the last three seasons and they lived up to their name. They are without a couple of key players, including Dane Haylett-Penny who is one of their more experienced campaigners and dangerous threats. The side will need to play for the full 80 minutes in this one, otherwise the Blues will run away with it.

That is exactly what we are predicting to happen though. The Blues have been competitive in all of their matches this season and have built on their performances from last season under coach Tana Umaga. The side loves to attack and it will pay dividends against a weak defensive side such as the Force. They have shown they are strong second half teams this season which will prove lethal against the Force.

TIP: Force to win at the line (-18.5) – $1.90 at Sportsbet

Waratahs vs Crusaders (Sunday 4pm AEDT)

The Super Rugby Round 6 action wraps up on Sunday afternoon and we are expecting another blow out result. The Crusaders have a great track record against the Waratahs and after taking the form of both sides into account, there is only one result. The Crusaders demolished the Force last week despite playing most of the match in cruise control. The side is also welcoming back a lot of their key players from injury. Meanwhile the Tahs have a couple of injury clouds hanging over the heads of players, including their flyhalf Bernard Foley.

In their last match, the Waratahs had a slow start to the contest and were blown off the park by the struggling Rebels. If they put together a performance like that, have those type of errors and defend in that way, the Crusaders will put a big scoreline on them. While we believe the Waratahs won’t start as slow in this one, ultimately they will find themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard and by a large margin.

TIP: Crusaders to win at the margin (13+) – $2.10 at Sportsbet
