The 2017 Super Rugby season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches and offer our Super Rugby Round 10 Preview and Betting Tips.

Super Rugby Round 10 Betting Tips

Highlanders vs Stormers (Friday 5.35pm AEST)
The round opens with a blockbuster match as the Highlanders take on the Stormers. The Highlanders have turned their season around after a slow start and they are looking to have a big end to their season. They were slow to the party again on the weekend against the Sunwolves and it took until the second half where they put their foot down and applied a lot of pressure to their Japanese opponents. The side ran away with the match but allowed two late tries which would be worrying for their coach.

Meanwhile the Stormers suffered their second straight defeat, this time at the hand of the perfect Crusaders. The Stormers defence was cracked far too easily and they will need to tighten it up in the middle of the field. They scored 20 points but didn’t look dangerous throughout the match and were never in a position to earn the victory. They will be an improved side this weekend but they won’t be able to earn the upset.

TIP: Highlanders to win at the margin (1-12) – $2.80 at William Hill

Reds vs Waratahs (Saturday 7.45pm AEST)
The Waratahs hit rock bottom last week when they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Kings. They were on home soil, leading by 17 points and somehow lost to the worst South African side in the competition. The Waratahs have just two wins from eight matches in one of their worst seasons in recent years. They will want to bounce back this weekend and there would be nothing sweeter than for them to beat the Reds.

Meanwhile the Reds haven’t been much better, winning just two of their games this season. However, the side has been more competitive in a lot of matches and has attacked with a lot more consistency and their defence has been better too. Quade Cooper has been playing strong and will be hoping to tear the horrible defence of the Waratahs apart. Their won’t be much separating these two sides, but the home side advantage will help give the Reds the victory.

TIP: Reds at the margin (1-12) – $2.90 at Sportsbet

Force vs Lions (Saturday 9.55pm AEST)
The Force continue to be competitive in their matches this season. They kept themselves in the match against the Chiefs last week but they weren’t able to get the job done. They never looked like winning the match but their effort has to be credited. We expect them to come to this game with the same energy as they look to prove they deserve to remain in the Super Rugby competition. The cloud is still hanging over their heads and they will be wanting to play at a high level.

Meanwhile the Lions were able to earn the victory against the Jaguares on the back of a Andries Coetzee penalty goal at the death. The side has one of the best forward packs and backlines in the competition, however they haven’t been living up to their potential and expectations they created from last season. We are expecting the side to be too strong this weekend against the Force with their forward pack leading to a lot of penalties and their back line capitalising.

TIP: Lions at the line (-8.5) – $1.90 at CrownBet
