2017-18 A-League Round 19 Betting Multi
Tough weekend in last weeks A-League betting multi as we hit on just one leg. We’ll be looking to bounce back this weekend as we present our betting multi for Week 19 of the Hyundai A-League season below.
The first leg of out multi will of course feature table leaders Sydney FC to earn the win over bottom of the table Wellington Phoenix. Wellington had a good weekend over Newcastle back in Week 17 but returned to their inconsistent form last weekend, going down 1-0 to Adelaide. Sydney have been near perfect this season and their 42-14 goal difference is by far the best in the league.
Leg two of our multi will be the Melbourne Victory to defeat the Jets in Newcastle on Saturday afternoon. After a blistering start, Newcastle have hit a bit of a wall over the past few weeks, losing to Wellington followed by a draw with Melbourne City. While the Victory went down to Sydney FC last weekend, they were on a great run over the two weeks prior to that and we like them to recapture that form and earn a win to solidify their spot in the top four.
Legs three and four will feature the two away teams to earn victory in the Sunday double header. Western Sydney Wanderers will be first up, taking on the Mariners. Central Coast have won just one of their last 10 games and were beaten 2-1 by Brisbane last weekend. The Wanderers have had a really inconsistent season but their defence has been pretty rock solid throughout, securing 7 draws through their 18 games. We like them to get a win here over the struggling CCM.
In the second game of the double header, we like Melbourne City to get the win over the Brisbane Roar. Melbourne have been extremely impressive this season, especially going forward. Their trio of forwards in Ross McCormack, Marcin Budzinski and Dario Vidosic have been fantastic and should possess too much firepower for the Roar here.
