2017-18 A-League Round 17 Betting Multi
We hit on just two of four legs in last week’s A-League multi. We’ll be looking to improve on that heading into Week 17 of the 2017-18 season as we take a look at some of the best value games below.
Leg one of our multi will feature the Melbourne Victory to earn the win over the WSW in Sydney on Friday night. The Victory have turned their season around after a bit of a slow start and now sit fourth on the table. They have been a more consistent team away from home than back in Melbourne so far this season, with four of their six wins coming on the road. WSW have been consistent, but haven’t been able to secure maximum points on many occasions, playing out seven draws through 15 games. We like the Victory to continue to improve here and earn the win.
The second leg of our multi will be the Newcastle Jets to defeat Wellington at home on Saturday afternoon. The Jets have been the surprise packet of the 2017-18 season and currently sit 2nd on the table with a 10-3-3 record. Their 35 goals scored is just three behind Sydney FC and 12 in front of their nearest opponent, and through 16 games they have all but secured their finals berth. Wellington, on the other hand, have been dreadful throughout the season. They have just two wins so far and should struggle in Newcastle on Saturday.
Sydney FC will be hunting their 13th win from 17 games on the weekend as they host the Central Coast Mariners. The Sky Blues have been pretty much unstoppable throughout the season so far, losing just one game, albeit to the Mariners back in November. That game was at Central Coast though and the Sky Blues will be back in Sydney here, look for them to win this one easily.
Melbourne City will round out our A-Leauge multi as they face Adelaide United on Sunday night. Melbourne have looked good over the past month, going undefeated in their last three games with an impressive win over Perth in the mix. Adelaide have scored just 1 goal in their last two games, both of which were draws. While their defence is looking pretty rock solid, they have struggled to find avenues to goal, and we like Melbourne City to continue their impressive form here.
