2017-18 A-League Round 7 Betting Multi
Week 6 of the Hyundai A-League consisted of plenty of exciting games and even more upsets. Here, we’ll be looking ahead to the upcoming matches and presenting our A-League Multi of the Round for Week 7.
The first leg of our multi is Melbourne City to defeat Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane (7:50pm AEST). Melbourne City come into this match in second place with a record of 4-1-1 and coming off a 1-1 draw at home to WSW. Brisbane Roar hold a 0-3-3 record and currently sit in last place, with their latest outing being a 1-1 draw away to Melbourne Victory. City are clearly in better form than roar and still have some value due to this being an away game. We think Melbourne City will get the job done here.
Leg two of our multi is Western Sydney Wanderers to defeat Wellington Phoenix at Spotless Stadium in Sydney (5:35pm AEST). WSW are currently in 4th position in the standings with a 1-5-0 record, making them and the Jets the only sides who are undefeated after 6 games. Wellington Phoenix got their first win of the season last weekend, downing Perth Glory 5-2 and moving them up to 7th place in the standings with a 1-2-3 record. WSW have been unlucky not to have claimed a few more wins in their opening games and should be too good for Wellington in this one.
The third leg of our multi is Sydney FC to defeat Newcastle Jets at Sydney Football Stadium (7:50pm AEST). Sydney FC suffered their first loss of the season in Week 6, going down 2-0 to CCM and taking them to 3rd place and 4-1-1 for the season. The Newcastle Jets claimed a 2-1 win against Adelaide in their last game, taking them to the top of the table with a 4-2-0 record. Although the Jets are undefeated and on top, we feel that the reigning champions Sydney FC will see this as an opportunity to remind the league that they’re still the top dog, by winning this one in a dominant performance.
The final leg of our multi is Melbourne Victory to defeat Perth Glory at NIB Stadium in Perth (7:00pm AEST). Melbourne Victory were unable to make their dominance show on the scoreboard last weekend as they drew 1-1 with Brisbane at home. This makes it 4 draws in a row for Victory and leaves them in 9th place with a 0-4-2 record. Perth Glory were smashed 5-2 by Wellington last week, moving them down to 5th place in the standings at 2-1-3. Although Melbourne Victory are still winless, they have been dominating possession in their last few matches and we think this will be the week they make it count.
