2017-18 A-League Round 6 Betting Multi

Week 5 of the Hyundai A-League provided plenty of exciting games and reminded us once more just how good Sydney FC are. Here, we’ll be looking ahead to the upcoming matches and presenting our A-League Multi of the Round for Week 6

The first leg of our multi is Sydney FC to defeat Central Coast Mariners. This is a pretty straight forward selection, with the Sky Blues coming into this match undefeated, whereas the Mariners are winless through five games. Sydney came out on top in their clash with the then undefeated Melbourne City last week through a second half goal from Luke Wilshere. Meanwhile, the Mariners fought out a goalless draw against a struggling Brisbane Roar outfit. All in all, it would be a big shock to see this game result in anything other than a Sydney win.

Leg two of our multi is Newcastle Jets to defeat Adelaide United in Adelaide. This is the value leg of our multi, with the Newcastle Jets paying a generous $2.90 to keep their run going. The Jets are now 3-2-0 through five games and don’t look like slowing down after an impressive 3-0 victory last weekend. Roy O’Donovan continued his blistering start to the season by bagging himself a brace, taking his season tally to seven goals. On the other hand, the Reds are 1-2-2 through five games and will be desperate to grab a win at home. It’s hard to find a reason to back against the Jets in this one and we expect them to get another win here.

The third leg of our multi is Melbourne Victory to defeat Brisbane Roar at Etihad Stadium. After going down to 10-men last weekend Victory managed to fight out a 1-1 draw against WSW, however, big improvements still need to be made for them to get their season back on track, as they are still winless after five games. Meanwhile, Brisbane Roar aren’t doing too much better themselves, as they sit ninth on the ladder with two draws from their five games so far. In a battle of the bottom dwellers we’re taking the home side to get their first win of the season.

The final leg of our multi is Melbourne City to defeat Western Sydney Wanderers at AAMI Park. Melbourne City suffered their first loss of the season last weekend when they fell 1-0 at home to reigning champions Sydney FC. However, they were extremely competitive in the match and won’t be too disheartened with the way it panned out. WSW fought out a 1-1 draw against Melbourne Victory, but would be disappointed not to get the win in a game they let slip against 10-men.
