The Super Rugby action returns this weekend after team’s had a month off for the international rugby break. Continue reading for our Super Rugby Round 15 Betting Tips.

Chiefs vs Crusaders (Friday 5.35pm AEST)

Super Rugby will return with a bang, as it will be well worth the month wait as these two sides face off on Friday night. The Chiefs and Crusaders are two sides that are favourites to lift the Super Rugby championship at the end of the season and they are facing off for the first time since round 1. It was the Chiefs who came out on top in that much on the road and the Crusaders will be looking to get one back on the Chiefs home soil this time around.

After losing that match in the opening around, the Crusaders won 10 of the next 11 matches and are currently sitting on the top of the table. Their forward pack is the most dominant in the competition and they will be looking to get the upper hand in this area against the Chiefs who have been known to struggle at the scrum and line out.

However, if the Chiefs are able to get out to an early lead it will turn the match in their favour as they have the capability of packing on points quickly with one of the best back lines. They will need a lot out of their young fullback Damien Mackenzie as he started the season strongly but has since struggled leading into the international break. If he is able to recapture the form he showed in the early weeks then the Chiefs will be hard to stop. In front of their home fans we are predicting them to win both matches against their New Zealand rivals during the regular season.

TIP: Chiefs 1-12 @ $3.00 with William Hill

Brumbies vs Reds (Friday 7.45pm AEST)

The Reds have improved throughout the season but they won’t be heading to the nations capital with much expectation on them as they are clearly going through a rebuilding year. Throughout the back half of the year they have been competitive in games but they haven’t been able to put together a full 80-minute performance away from Suncorp stadium. We are predicting this lapse in concentration to cost the side drastically as the Brumbies will pounce on any opportunity they are given.

The home side will be desperate to earn a bonus point victory as this will give them a huge chance at securing a finals position and also locking up top spot in the Australian conference. There will still be two matches remaining in the regular season after this weekend but the Brumbies definitely have a more favourable run home compared with their competition the Waratahs.

The Brumbies have a superior line up with a lot of their players returning from Wallabies duty throughout the international break. The side could be affected by the three losses they faced against England but we are predicting it to have put fire in the bellies of the team and they will come out wanting to punish their opposition and unfortunately for the Reds they will feel the full force of this. The Brumbies will be without David Pocock who was injured in game 1 of the Wallabies match against England but he shouldn’t be missed too much in this contest.

TIP: Brumbies -14.5 @ $1.90 with CrownBet

Sunwolves vs Waratahs (Saturday 3.15pm AEST)

The Waratahs side is full of Wallabies players and they will possibily come out with the same mindset as the Brumbies. They will be itching to get onto the field and put the losses against England behind them and this should see a massive score put up against the Sunwolves. This will be the first time the Waratahs are facing the Japanese side and it is definitely a high possibility they will be picking up a bonus point victory in this one. It will be their goal and anything less than that will be a failed trip for the side with finals aspirations.

Meanwhile the Sunwolves have had a positive season despite finding themselves on the bottom of the ladder. They have been competitive in a lot of matches they were expected to lose and they experience in the top level of club rugby will make them better next season.

In this match we a predicting the Waratahs to take an attacking approach into the contest. Their back line is studded with stars lead by the Wallabies flyhalf Bernard Foley and Wallabies fullback Israel Folau. The side will be looking at these two players to be creative in attack but it could be in the forwards where they make the most damage close to the line. The waratahs will come out on top of this one by a big score line.

TIP: Waratahs -22.5 @ $1.90 with Sportsbet
