2016 Super Rugby Round 10 Betting Tips
The 2016 Super Rugby season continues this weekend with round 10 action kicking off on Friday night. We take a look at the matches with the best value and offer our Super Rugby Betting Tips.
Force vs Bulls (Friday 9.05pm AEST)
The Bulls have overcame the disaster that was Handre Pollard suffering an ACL injury prior to the season starting. They knew they would be without their star flyhalf for the 2016 campaign but they have managed to win their last five games and are now in a position to continue to push for the finals series. In the Bulls favour they haven’t suffered another key injury to their squad as besides Pollard being on the sidelines the Bulls are almost at full strength.
The Force has just the one win to their name this season and they reached new lows last week when they suffered a massive loss to the Waratahs on home soil. They allowed four-second half tries and six tries against them in total as the match was taken away from them early and became embarrassing late in the contest. Their defence hasn’t been strong all season and it will need to improve drastically if they are going to overcome a Bulls side that can pile on a lot of points if they begin to get a roll on. We are expecting the Bulls to be far too strong in this contest as they will have the upper hand at the set pieces, breakdown and across the park in personnel.

Highlanders vs Brumbies (Saturday 5.15pm AEST)
The Highlanders have suffered back-to-back losses but they can credit their latest loss to a brain snap from centre Jason Emery who hit Willie le Roux whilst he was in the air and was shown a red card. His sending off in the opening 15-minutes of the match was a shot in the foot for the Highlanders as they were competitive throughout the match but ultimately lost by just one point and if they had of had the full compliment of 15-men then you would have to think they would have won the match.
Meanwhile the Brumbies fell to another New Zealand opponent on home soil in embarrassing fashion as the Crusaders put a massive score line on them as their dominance against the Australian side continues. The Brumbies will still be without David Pocock as he will serve his last match suspension for his indiscretion two weeks ago. They are definitely missing his presence at the breakdown as well as his leadership on the field and at the set pieces.
We are expecting both teams to put together a strong performance in this contest, as they will want to return to winning ways after having disappointing starts to the season. The Brumbies have picked up a victory in half of the matches on the Highlanders home soil and we are expecting them to improve on that record as they will lift to another level and earn a big victory on the road.

Reds vs Cheetahs (Saturday 7.45pm AEST)
The Cheetahs have struggled throughout the season against strong opposition as their only two victories have came against the Sunwolves and Kings. Their victory against the Sunwolves was incredibly impressive as they racked up 92-points in a 14-try thriller which illustrates their ability to attack, however when facing strong opposition they get caught out at the set pieces and at the breakdown.
Since the Reds appointed the two new coaches Matt O’Connor and Nick Stiles, they have improved every single week. They picked up their first victory three weeks ago on home soil against the defending champions the Highlanders whilst they were competitive in both matches in South Africa despite the scoreboard showing otherwise. Ultimately it was their discipline that let them down last week as they gave the Stormers too many opportunities to knock over the three points but they were able to crack their defence on three occasions including a try to former NRL player Karmichael Hunt.
We believe the Reds will be far too strong in this one as their resurgence continues under the new coaching duo whilst their squad is continuing to grow as key players are returning from injuries. James Slipper has been incredibly important at the scrum since he overcame the injury that saw him sidelined for the opening six weeks of the competition.

Stormers vs Waratahs (Sunday 3.15am AEST)
The Waratahs showed their fans what they have been waiting for all season, a good attacking performance with limited errors. It was a positive sign for a club that has struggled to build momentum and continue to put pressure on their opponent, albeit against the struggling Force. It was a good confidence builder and it was needed as they head on a two-game tour of South Africa. The move of Israel Folau to outside centre begins to be paying dividends as he was at his destructive best whilst he picked up a try that saw him become the all-time leading scorer for the Waratahs. Kurtley Beale has also improved in his performance since Bernard Foley returned to the line up and these three players need to continue to play at a high level to ensure their attack is at its best.
Meanwhile the Stormers returned to winning ways against the Reds last week but they were far from convincing. It was their classic style where they rely on applying pressure to their opponent, gain penalties and knock over penalties to continue to extend the lead they have on the scoreboard. The Tahs will need to be at their disciplined best this weekend to prevent the Stormers from being able to do that and if they succeed their attack should be able to produce enough points to get them the victory and keep their season alive
