2016 NFL Week 6 Betting Tips
A disappointing week for the best bets last week going 1-2 to take the season tally to 10-5. We were lucky to scrape through on our Giants +7.5 bet which again highlights the importance of getting that key half point. The Chargers were another team that covered by the skin of their teeth at 3.5 against the Raiders.
Looking at the NFL as a whole there is a clear breakaway pack of Super Bowl contenders we have identified after the first five weeks.

On what we’ve seen so far, it’s hard to imagine the winner coming from outside of those seven teams. There is a few on the fringe that need to improve again sharply this week – and with that, it’s on to our 2016 NFL Week 6 betting tips.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Redskins
Philadelphia had their bubble popped last week when a very average Detroit team put them away in the Motor City. This week they travel to the Capital to take on their division rival Redskins who are starting to play some solid Football. Injuries are an issue for them as is their redzone conversions but they’ve had some role players step up and on pure ratings are a very similar team to the Eagles.
We’ve assessed this as a pick’em and it’s really astonishing that we can get a three point start for the home team. Slightly reduced odds now but still well worth taking to secure that key number of the field goal.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders
The Chiefs started this season like they did last season, very poorly. However, there is just too much talent on this roster for it to continue and we think they’ll turn it around against a division rival on the road this Sunday.
The Raiders form is as hollow as anyone in the National Football League and it is astonishing they’ve won so many games given how many yards-per-play they are leaking defensively. Alex Smith should have no issues moving the ball against this team and the Chiefs defense will get plenty of chances to force turnovers against the streaky Oakland offense. We get the feeling the public money will come for the Raiders but still think Kansas City are the bet.

Dallas Cowboys @ Green Bay Packers
Back to back National TV home games for the Green Bay Packers who were very impressive in handling the New York Giants on Sunday night. Dallas are riding high off the back of Dak Prescott’s impressive start and a few massive games from Ezekiel Elliot who is no doubt enjoying playing behind that destruction Cowboys offensive line.
This week really shapes as the challenge game for the Cowboys however as they really haven’t beaten any teams of substance yet. This week they play a genuine Top 10 team on the road and they have to rise to the challenge. We’ve got Green Bay 2.5 points better on a nuetral field and Lambeau field adding another 3 points. The line feels 1.5-2 points too low and happy to follow the Cheeseheads in.
