Welcome back to another edition of the BetKing NFL Best Bets column.

A clean sweep of our best bets in Week 14 took the season tally 26-16-1 with our winners coming at average odds of $1.91.

Onto the best bets for a busy Week 15 where playoff implications are very high. It’s a tricky week and our lowest confidence level week of the season so far. If you’ve been following along each week consider 3/4 stakes on this week’s plays. The Giants game is the only one that would have made the board on our Week 14 set.

Detroit Lions at New York Giants

Matt Stafford hasn’t played outside in over a month and comes to New York with a serious hand injury that will mean he plays with a glove. The New York Giants defence is absolutely ON FIRE and after beating the number one team in Football for the second time they will awfully tough to beat at home this week. The Giants offence is yet to fully click but gets a chance this week to get things rolling against the Lions who rank 29th in defensive DVOA.

We had the spread at -4.5 with a fully healthy Stafford. The elements plus the injury and we can push that spread out to -6 making this game one we are keen on playing.

TIP: New York Giants -4 – $1.90 at Sportsbet
Confidence level: 75%

Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans

These are two bad teams playing in a nobody cares game. The only difference is the Texans can still win the division believe it or not. The Texans home field is currently worth around two and half points on our rankings. We then think the Texans are a two point better team than the Jags. That still leaves this line a little short and landing on a mini key number of six. The Jaguars are slightly better than their record suggests and their is certainly not five wins difference between these two teams on talent.

It’s hard to see Brock Osweiler being able to throw the ball deep on the solid Jags secondary and this game has a field goal deciding moment written all over it. Take the points and keep it simple.

**We can see this game moving to a spread of six and half and that extra half point could be crucial. We advise waiting until later in the week to take this line

TIP: Jacksonville Jaguars +6 – $1.95 at Various
Confidence level: 70%

New England Patriots at Denver Broncos

The Patriots may have only beaten the Ravens by seven points on paper but rest assured, they beat them convincingly. 14 points basically gifted to the Ravens made that final margin very misleading. The Patriots are the best team in Football and the Broncos are slipping out of the playoff race.

Offensively they (Broncos) are struggling big time ranked 25th in DVOA. They can’t run the ball and to win Emmanuel Sanders will have to have a big game. They will be able to bring pressure to Tom Brady but he owes this team after the AFC Championship game in which he and the Pats were roughed up. We expect them to win by a touchdown and clamp down on that number one AFC seed and back-to-back chances to play at Foxboro in January.

TIP: New England Patriots -3 – $1.91 at Sportsbet
Confidence level: 70%
