2016 NFL Week 12 Betting Tips
Welcome back to another BetKing NFL betting column. Week 11 was certainly one to forget, we missed on all three of our best bets including the disaster in Los Angeles where the Rams blew a 10-0 lead in the final quarter against the Miami Dolphins.
That’s ancient history now, as we look ahead to Week 12 and try to build on our season record of 18-14-1 with the winners coming at the average odds of $1.95.
Our best bets for the Week 12 games are below!
New York Giants at Cleveland Browns (Monday 5am AEDT)
The Cleveland Browns are simply awful. They are an equal league worst 2-9 against the spread so far this season and have lost six of their last eight games by double-digit margins. They are a genuine chance (28% on our projections) to finish the season without a win. Perhaps the home game against Cincinnati in a few weeks is their main chance at a victory.
The New York Giants are 7-3, two games back of the Cowboys in the NFC East but only one game clear of the Washington Redskins (who play in Dallas). This is the ultimate take care of business game for the Giants who certainly are not as good as their record indicates. They are however at least seven points better than the Cleveland Browns on any field, anywhere.
TIP: New York Giants -6.5 – $1.89 at CrownBet

Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts (Friday 12.30pm AEDT)
Pittsburgh bounced back last week with a much-needed win over the Cleveland Browns. Although the Browns are awful, the Steelers needed to get back on track badly and Big Ben was able to play four more quarters without getting injured. The Steelers health is key and they are starting to get their key players on the park at the same time. The AFC North division is far from their’s though and with the Ravens and Bengals facing off this week it’s another must-win for the Steel Curtain.
Thankfully they’ve drawn an easy opponent with a bad defence that should play right into the hands of the high-powered Pittsburgh offence. Indy got the jump on Tennessee last week at home and held on for an unconvincing victory thanks to three early touchdowns. Their form outside of the division is very hollow and we are happy to take them on again.
TIP: Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 – $1.87 at CrownBet
Confidence level: 75%
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos (Monday 12.30pm AEDT)
The Kansas City Chiefs go about their business with little fanfare but have only lost four times since the midway point of last season. One of those losses came last week as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played out of their skin to defeat the Chiefs. That wasn’t a big surprise to us though as the Bucs are an underrated team compared to the market most weeks they just can’t stay healthy. The Chiefs will bounce back hard and compete well against whoever they were to play this week.
Unfortunately though for the Chiefs, they have a crucial division game against the Denver Broncos that is anything but a walkover. We have the Chiefs slightly ahead of the Broncos on power rankings and they have played well at Mile High in the past. Anything over a field-goal looks a great line for us.
TIP: Kansas City +3.5 – $1.83 at CrownBet
