2016 NFL Week 11 Betting Tips
Welcome back to another edition of the BetKing NFL best betting tips column. Week 11 is already upon us after another solid week in Week 10 where we went 2-1 on our best bets. Unfortunately the New York Giants couldn’t hit a late field goal to cover the spread against the Bengals at home. That took our season total to 18-11-1 at average odds of $1.95.
The Patriots were beaten at home last week as the Seahawks stamped their ticket to the contenders party while the Patriots and Cowboys played out a beauty in Pittsburgh. All four of those teams are live Super Bowl chances.
Onto our NFL Week 11 best bets!
Titans at Colts – Monday 21st November 5am
We’ve been saying it all season, the Titans are actually pretty decent and they made a real statement by crushing the Packers last week to go to 5-5. They are now in the top 10 for DVOA on Football Outsiders rankings and rank five spots higher than the Colts on overall efficiency rankings.
This line is a strange one even though Andrew Luck’s division record is incredible and the Colts are coming off a bye week it still looks 2.5-3 points too high. The Colts just aren’t good, it’s as simple as that. Happy to take the very helpful field goal on the Titans but we are also tempted by the money line price around $2.50.
Suggested bet: Titans +3 – $1.94 at Bet365
Confidence level: 80%
Cardinals at Vikings – Monday 21st November 5am
The Cardinals limped across the line against the 49ers on Sunday but the 49ers actually played very well. They defended the run well and Kaepernick had one of his best games of the season. There were a stack of positive signs for the Cardinals in that game after their bye week and we think they have found a bit of their 2015/16 mojo.
The Vikings are on a big slide and have lost their past four games. They can’t block and the defense has slipped. They conceded less than 20 points in the first five games of the season and then in their four losses have conceded at least 20 points. Whilst we still have our reservations on Carson Palmer and whether he is back to somewhere near his best but the upside with the Cardinals team far outweighs the slipping Vikes right now.
Suggested bet: Cardinals -0.5 – $1.92 at CrownBet
Confidence level: 75%
Dolphins at Rams – Monday 21st November 8:05am
The LA Rams might be the best ugly team in the league. They are awful to watch each week and their punter might legitimately be one of the best five players on their team. However, they are 4-5 and on our game rankings should really be 6-3 and in the playoff race. This week they host an East Coast team in Los Angeles with their season well and truly on the line.
That East Coast team is the Miami Dolphins who are putting together a nice little run of four straight wins. The win over the Steelers four weeks ago is really their only genuinely good win though. They were very lucky to beat San Diego on Sunday (Four Phil Rrivers interceptions) and playing their second West Coast road game in two weeks is a big red flag. The Rams should be favourite in this game. We will happily take the points or the current money line.
Suggested bet: Rams +1 – $1.94 at Sportsbet
