UEFA Champions League Round of 16
Champions League action resumes this week as we brace to see the top-16 battle it out over two legs. There are some exciting matches in the offing and with stakes so high, there could be some surprises too!

Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona (Wednesday 15th 6.45am AEDT)
It’s the French versus Spanish Champions here and the Catalans will start as favourites but will be wary of the threat from PSG. Cavani will be key for PSG while Barcelona have the fearsome trio of Messi-Suarez-Neymar who already found the net 14 times between them in group stage.

Qualification Odds: Barcelona – $1.25 (bet365) & PSG – $4 (Ladbrokes)
TIP: Messi anytime scorer at odds of $2.20 (William Hill)

Benfica vs Dortmund (Wednesday 15th 6.45am AEDT)
Benfica scraped through the group stage while Dortmund upstaged Real Madrid to top their group. Though their domestic form is wavering, Dortmund look good to qualify. They are already the top scorers from group stages.

Qualification Odds: Benfica – $3.75 (William Hill) & Dortmund – $1.25 (bet365)
TIP: Aubameyang anytime scorer at odds of $2.10 (Ladbrokes)

Real Madrid vs Napoli (Thursday 16th 6.45am AEDT)
Real Madrid were sloppy to finish second in the group stage and have already conceded ten goals. But even then, it would be a huge upset if Napoli goes through.

Qualification Odds: Real – $1.29 (bet365) & Napoli – $3.75 (Ladbrokes)
TIP: Real to qualify – $1.29 at Bet365

Bayern Munich vs Arsenal (Thursday 16th 6.45am AEDT)
This is almost a constant fixture every season! Bayern qualified second to Atletico Madrid and come on the back of a poor domestic form. Does that make Arsenal favourites? Maybe, just!

Qualification Odds: Bayern – $1.33 (Ladbrokes) & Arsenal – $3.40 (William Hill)
TIP: Arsenal to qualify – $3.40 at William Hill

Bayer Leverkusen vs Atletico Madrid (Wednesday 22nd 6.45am AEDT)
Two meddling teams which are struggling to stay afloat domestically will have a chance to redeem their fortunes in the Champions League here. Don’t be surprised if there are drab draws in both legs.

Qualification Odds: Bayer – $4 (Ladbrokes) & Atletico – $1.25 (William Hill)
TIP: Atletico to qualify – $1.25 at William Hill

Manchester City vs Monaco (Wednesday 22nd 6.45am AEDT)
Two free-scoring teams and coaches who favour attacking philosophies. With chances of Premier League crown vanishing fast, will Guardiola utilise the Champions League to further his trophy ambitions? Hang on, there could be a surprise waiting for him from Falcao’s Monaco!

Qualification Odds: City – $1.40 (William Hill) & Monaco – $3.20 (Ladbrokes)
TIP: Monaco to qualify – $3.20 at Ladbrokes

Porto vs Juventus (Thursday 23rd 6.45am AEDT)
Porto are in the midst of a tough Primeira Liga battle with Benfica. That could hamper their concentration against Juventus who will take some stopping this season.

Qualification Odds: Porto – $3.75 (bet365) & Juventus – $1.29 (William Hill)
TIP: Juventus to qualify – $1.29 at William Hill

Sevilla vs Leicester City (Thursday 23rd 6.45am AEDT)
The Foxes are really struggling in English Premier League but have been in cracking form in Europe. Sevilla are doing just the opposite. There could be a fairytale progression for Leicester.

Qualification Odds: Sevilla – $1.36 (Ladbrokes) & Leicester – $3 (William Hill)
TIP: Leicester to qualify – $3 at William Hill
