NBA betting tips

Yesterday went well with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist easily clearing his line while Tyler Johnson had the shots to cover his but couldn’t convert! The Houston Rockets did it the hard way almost blowing their lead late against the Pistons. They eventually covered though to take us to 2-1 for the slate.

Our season record now sits at 19-8 with the winners coming at average odds of $1.92

Best bets for today’s four-game slate listed below!

Portland Trailblazers @ New York Knicks

Betting against the New York Knicks is a past-time of the BetKing crew and we get another opportunity to do so today. This season the Knicks are 6-7 at the spread which is also their record so far this season. The Trailblazers are 7-6 in a tougher Western Conference and have had a nice rest in between their game over the bridge in Brooklyn.

The Blazers are a much better basketball team than the New York Knicks and shouldn’t be underdogs today at Madison Square Garden. $2.10 money-line with Ladbrokes is too hard to ignore!

Tip: Portland Trailblazers H2H @ $2.10 Ladbrokes
Confidence level: 75%

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers

Russell Westbrook is having a huge season for the Oklahoma City Thunder but he is known to concede a stack of points at the point guard position. In fact, the Thunder have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposition point guards this season.

Lakers gun sophomore DeAngelo Russell is averaging 16 points on the season and has a great matchup today against the Thunder in a projected high-scoring game.

Tip: DeAngelo Russell over 14.5 points @ $1.88 CrownBet
Confidence level: 70%

Chicago Bulls @ Denver Nuggets

Chicago are 9-5 straight up, an NBA best 10-4 at the spread on the season and one of the surprise packets to us. They’ve been well coached and have utilized the skills of the starting lineup very well. Franchise player (we use that term kind of loosely) Jimmy Butler is averaging a career high 25.1 points per night and shooting the three-pointer considerably better than he has in previous years. The Nuggets on the flip-side have only won two of their last seven and are really struggling against the better teams. They are though 9-4 against the spread thanks to a competitive start to the season. They, like the Bulls are a very good rebounding team but concede far too many points per game.

Chicago having won five of their last six are well placed to win not only this game but the one after at Philadelphia and stake their early claim in the Eastern Conference playoff race. They’d be 11-5 at that point with the lineup only set to improve as the core of Rondo, Wade, Butler and Lopez get more time playing together. The line here is two points too low and worth playing at the $1.95

Tip: Chicago -2.5 @ $1.95 Sportsbet
Confidence level: 75%

Sportsbet multi of the day

Portland @ $2.03
Atlanta @ $1.24
Chicago @ $1.72
Los Angeles Lakers @ $2.26

Total price of the multi: $9.78
