It’s one of the most celebrated rivalries in all of English Football and this time around, we have the added spice of rivalry between the managers. Manchester United and Arsenal will have a lot to play for when they clash at the Old Trafford stadium on Saturday, 19th November. What a cracker of a match right after the international break!

Season so far
The less said, the better about United! It has been a hugely disappointing start under Jose Mourinho for the Red Devils who have been stuttering through the season so far. Their tally of 18 points from 11 games has them in sixth position and eight points off the top spot.

Arsenal have been much more consistent and just like every season, are lurking around the top spot. They have 24 points and are in fourth spot but are just two away from Liverpool who lead the table.

Mourinho vs Wenger?
Apart from their grand rivalry, the presence of Mourinho and Arsene Wenger makes the clash more enticing for the fans. With so much criticism being hauled at him for the inept style of football being displayed, Jose knows that another loss could be a catastrophe. On his part, the manager too has been guilty of some stubborn decisions – including one to keep Michael Carrick on the sidelines.

Wenger’s men on the other hand have been unbeaten in the Premier League since the opening day loss to Liverpool. The form of Mesut Ozil has been refreshing for the Gunners while the likes of Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez are scoring crucial goals. Sanchez is doubtful but may well start in this vital fixture.

Old Trafford is a tough place to visit for Arsenal, who haven’t won here since 2006. But this is a different United side and recent form too suggests Gunners have a better chance. However, Mourinho will be inclined to run another tactical warfare and go for a draw. At good odds, a punt on a draw is an enticing one.

TIP: Draw – $3.40 at Sportsbet

Last year Arsenal were undone by Marcus Rashford who scored twice and then set up the other goal to spearhead a 3-2 win. Wenger believes the teenager is still his main threat and his fears may well prove right. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic suspended for this game, it could be Rashford’s chance to impress.

TIP: Marcus Rashford to score – $2.70 at Sportsbet
