It’s easy to look beyond the current game as the expectation around Emirates is on Arsenal to break its Premier League hoodoo at last. They have been in irresistible form ever since that opening day loss to Liverpool. Add to that their impressive home record against Spurs, Arsene Wenger’s camp must be oozing with confidence.
Spurs are one of the best teams in the league, but their recent form has been patchy. They haven’t been able to win any of their last six matches across all competitions. They are winless in their last six visits to Emirates and it would take a herculean effort for them to break that streak this weekend.
Prediction
The absence of Toby Alderweireld makes it a tough job for Mauricio Pochettino’s men. Their record scoring goals has been really poor and the absence of Harry Kane isn’t helping either. But it could be a repeat of last two results at the Emirates, a 1-1 draw.
