2016-17 A-League Round 27 Betting Multi

It’s been a bit of a rough year for A-League multis, so we’re pleased to wave goodbye to the regular season and bring in the finals, but not before we have one last crack at hitting the coveted four leg multi, a feat we’ve only accomplished on a few occasions this year. Our A-League Multi of the Week for Round 27 is below.

Leg one of our multi will feature the Melbourne Victory to defeat the Central Coast Mariners on Friday night. The Mariners have been one of the more average teams on the season so far and while they’ll have much more to play for here as they fight to stay off the bottom of the ladder, Melbourne are undefeated in their last 11 games against Central Coast. They should be too strong at home.

We have arguably the two worst teams in the league facing off against the two best this week so in our second leg we’ll be taking Sydney FC to beat the Newcastle Jets at home on Saturday. Hard to falter the Sky Blues this year, they’ve been a mainstay in our multi of the week and have rarely let us down with just 6 draws and 1 loss on the season so far. Should be much too strong for the struggling Jets here.

Leg three of our multi will feature Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers to draw. Four of the two teams last six matches have ended in draw, with three of them being completely scoreless. Western Sydney have been the kings of the draw all year with 11 on the season, 2 more than any other team. Adelaide will be playing all out with nothing to lose but the WSW defence has been stingy this year, hoping for a low scoring draw.

In the final leg of our multi we will be taking the Brisbane Roar to defeat the Wellington Phoenix in Brisbane on Sunday afternoon. The Roar have plenty to play for here as they look to leapfrog Melbourne City into 3rd place on the table. While Wellington were gallant in many of their defeats this year, they ultimately didn’t do enough to secure a finals berth. Wellington have been a woeful travelling team this year, winning only 3 games on the road, Brisbane should hold firm at Suncorp.
