Memphis Grizzlies @ Los Angeles Lakers 13:40 AEDT
Tough game for the bookies to handicap this one. The Lakers have had a nice break although news has just surfaced that Jordan Clarkson and Nick Young might have got up to some mischief on Sunday night. Kobe is a night-to-night proposition with injury and the Lakers have awful depth.
Memphis on the other hand had to endue a horrid period without Gasol, Conley, Randolph and Carter. In a boost for the side Vinsanity has returned back and so is Randolph. They were also able to get some minutes and more importantly instil some confidence in Lance Stephenson. They had a close game last night against the Suns who are actually playing much better at the moment and the Griz return to Staples where they outplayed the Clippers on Saturday. A repeat performance of their win against the Suns on Wednesday and they’ll be beat the Lakers.

Miami Heat @ New Orleans Pelicans 11:10 AEDT
Both teams arrive at this game buoyed by two huge wins. The Pelicans beat the Clippers at Staples without their star Power Forward Anthony Davis and the Miami Heat defeated LeBron and the Cavaliers easily at home. The Heat is a legit playoff team and if Chris Bosh can return to full health they could go very deep in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Joe Johnson has found his groove again and he’s playing great down in South Beach alongside D-Wade on the wings. The Heat are a well oiled machine right now and with five wins between 3rd and 10th in the East each game is a must-win and home court is a real advantage for a veteran team like the Heat.

Quick fire thoughts on the other two games:
– James Harden missed practise on Monday and his status for the game against Oklahoma City is still up in the air. For that reason we can’t suggest an early bet.
– We are sweating on the Patrick Beverley player prop in the Houston game. We are happy to bet on him to cover anything under 10.5 points.
– Charlotte are playing great and have won eight of their past ten games. They should beat Brooklyn but the spread is getting pretty high at 8.5 now and they run the risk of having a letdown game after the big game against San Antonio yesterday
– Brook Lopez should have a good game against young Zeller and we’ll look for a player prop tomorrow on his points + rebounds. Any number under 28.5 would be a betting situation.
