2015 NRL Grand Final

Sydney is going to be flooded with a familiar waft of maroon on Sunday Night as two teams from the north descend on ANZ Stadium. Queensland pride is on the line as for the first time in NRL history the Grand Final will be played by two Queensland sides – the Brisbane Broncos Vs The North Queensland Cowboys. Will the Cowboys be able to break and tame the Broncos or will the Broncos buck their way to victory? Find out what we think with our latest NRL betting tips

Three weeks ago these two teams faced off during the first week of finals football. when the Clock hit 80 minutes and the final siren sounded the Broncos were had won 16-12. The Broncos got off to a quick start, but the Cowboys managed to fight their way back in the second half, ultimately falling short. Last week the Broncos traveled down south to beat the Roosters and the Cowboys ventured even further to defeat the Storm.

The Broncos have named an unchanged roster, after Captain Justin Hodges was cleared to play his farewell by the judiciary committee. As they have been all season, Brisbane are dangerously fast. They have scored in the first 10 minutes of games 11 time this season. They’re quick and relentless. As the most dominate attacking side this season, the Broncos have not shied away from their right side. 22 of the 68 tries have come from the right side and on Sunday night we are sure to see a few more.

Wayne Bennett is truly the greatest coach in NRL history with seven Grand Finals and seven victories under his belt he clearly knows what to do. His game plan has taken the Broncos from an eighth place finish and a first week finals exit to the Grand Final. With a strong attack and a huge defensive effort they have made it to the big game and are the bookies favourite.

The Cowboys are coming off a strong win in Melbourne and are looking to make history with their maiden premiership within arms reach. Cowboys Props James Tamou and Matt Scott have been producing recently allowing Johnathon Thurston and Michael Morgan the chance to make their moves. JT was clearly the best player for the 2015 season taking home the Dally M on Monday night. The simple truth is the Cowboys need to start fast. This season they’ve been to slow off the mark, allowing 14 tries in the opening 10 minutes of their games this year.

This will come down the whether the Cowboys defence can stop the Broncos. We don’t think is can. After a long hard season the Brisbane Broncos and coach Wayne Bennett will both win their 8th Premiership.
