2015 NFL Week 9 Betting Tips

November 4, 2015 by Posted in Betting Tips, NFL Tips

We have passed the halfway mark of offering NFL betting tips for the 2015-16 season and remarkably there are still four unbeaten sides in the league. The Denver Broncos made their biggest statement this year as they remained undefeated as they gave the Green Bay Packers their first loss. Find our Week 9 Betting Tips below.

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals (Friday 12.25pm AEDT)

The Bengals picked up a huge victory against the Steelers away from home last weekend to stay undefeated. Quarterback Andy Dalton made turnovers but he was able to bounce back which is a promising sign for his mentality as in the past he has been criticised for letting matches slip away from him when things go against him.

The Browns have lost their last three games and blew a 10-point lead against the Cardinals last week. Their defence won’t be strong enough to stop the offensive onslaught that the Bengals have at their disposal, as they will win by at least two touchdowns.

TIP: Bengals -13.5 @ $2.24 with Crownbet

Green Bay Packers @ Caronlina Panthers (Monday 5am AEDT)

The Packers lost their first match of the season as the Broncos pass rush was able to put an enormous amount of pressure on quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The former MVP was only able to manage 77 passing yards throughout the entire match as the loss of wide receiver Jordy Nelson at the start of the year was felt massively.

They are up against another strong defensive team in the Panthers and this could give more issues for Rodgers and the Packers. Cam Newton has also been in career best form and has found a way for his side to win despite facing adversity against the Seahawks in Seattle and in overtime against the Colts. The Green Bay defence won’t be able to stop the run, which will open it up for Newton to take over.

TIP: Carolina Panthers @ $2.18 with Sportsbet

New York Giants vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Monday 8.05am AEDT)

The Giants defence felt the full force of Drew Brees last weekend as the quarterback threw for seven touchdown passes. It was an exciting shootout match that should have been sent into overtime if it wasn’t for a poor kick by Brad Wing and then a facemask penalty that added an extra 15 yards which put the New Orleans in field goal territory. The loss hurts but the ability of the offence to put up 49 points is a good sign whilst the defence will be better this weekend and rookie Jameis Winston won’t be throwing dimes like Brees.

TIP: Giants -2.5 @ $1.90 with Palmerbet

Denver Broncos vs Indianapolis Colts (Monday 8.25am AEST)

The Broncos, their defence and Peyton manning all made a huge statement against the Packers as they dominated the match up and won the battle of the “unbeaten”. The defence was able to constantly move Aaron Rodgers around in the pocket whilst they were able to prevent anyone from getting open. They managed only 77 pass yards and the result was never in doubt. The bye looked to have helped Manning get in sync with his offence, as he was making crisp passes whilst their running game finally got going this season.

The Colts finally got going in the fourth quarter as Andrew Luck began to play like the player in seasons past, however it was his pass that ultimately led to another intercept that was his side’s downfall.

The Broncos defence will be throwing a lot of pressure Luck’s way and with him becoming a turnover machine I can’t see the Colts being challenging in this one.

TIP: Broncos -5 @ $1.95 with WilliamHill
