Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals (Friday 12.25pm AEDT)
The Cardinals have been improving from week to week and have proven that they are title contenders. They have the ability to make deep throws and when Carson Palmer is finding the mark his wide receivers have the ability to break the game open. Their running game is also strong with their offensive line creating opportunities for veteran Chris Johnson and also Andre Ellington. Their offence is making over 420 yards per game.
The Vikings are coming off a huge loss to the Seahawks where they were unable to get their running game going and they gave Adrian Peterson the ball on only 8 occasions. They need to feed him the ball a lot more to increase their chances of winning as the superstar will be able to do things even if the running game is struggling and he vented his frustration at the end of the game. However, the Cardinals defence allows only 90 yards per game from rushing and this could be the downfall for the Vikings.

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers (Monday 5am AEDT)
The Panthers are continuing to charge on and remain undefeated this season after Cam Newton led a drive in the final two minutes, which ended in a touchdown and the victory for the away side. Newton threw for five touchdowns for the second time in three weeks as he continued to show why he is an MVP candidate.
Meanwhile, the Falcons continued to slip after they fell to 6-6 after starting the season 5-0 and have now lost five straight games. Matt Ryan has lost his way in recent weeks as he has kept his side in the game only to throw costly interceptions late in the match. The Panthers defence was poor last week as Drew Brees picked it apart, however it won’t be the same this week as the Panthers will win comfortably and remain perfect.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos (Monday 8.05am AEDT)
The Broncos offence has been strong with Brock Osweiler at the helm as they have made over 385 yards in two of the three games he has started. Last week they raced to a 14 point lead against the Chargers before taking their foot off the accelerator and played a conservative game. It didn’t cost them, however if they take a similar approach this week against the Raiders they could regret it.
Last week the Raiders were looking as if they would upset the Chiefs as they led by 6 in the fourth quarter – then disaster struck as quarterback Derek Carr threw three interceptions. This week he will be under enormous pressure from the pass rush defence of the Broncos and he can’t afford to make any turnovers otherwise it will be the end.

Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers (Monday 8.25am AEDT)
The Cowboys were able to do something last week they hadn’t accomplished since 2010 – win without Tony Romo. The victory will help lift the confidence of the side, however it was a sluggish match with a lot of mistakes and it took until the final minutes for the game to really find any life.
The Packers were within seconds of losing to the Lions for the second time this season but Aaron Rodgers stepped up and with a lot of luck they were able to grab the victory.
