PatriotsvsBills

The NFL enters Week 11 of the regular season and only the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers remain undefeated after the Cincinnati Bengals suffered a shock loss against the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. Read on as we once again offer some NFL betting tips!

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars (Friday 12.25pm AEDT)

These two sides are very evenly matched with both teams rebuilding with young quarterbacks they have big expectations on their shoulders. However, the Jaguars seem to have taken an extra step this year as Blake Bortles has an extra year of experience under his belt whilst Marcus Mariota is learning his trade as a rookie.

The Titans have only picked up the two victories this season and despite being competitive against the Panthers last week they never looked like defeating the undefeated side. The key to victory for them in this one is to get to Bortles and put pressure on him as their offence relies heavily on the passing game. The Titans have sacked the quarter back 12 times since week 8, which is the highest in the NFL. To make matters worse for the Jaguars, Bortles has been sacked 28 times this year which is the third highest in the NFL.

On the back of their defence, the Titans will win this game as Bortles will commit turnovers after feeling too much pressure.

Dallas Cowboys at Miami Dolphins (Monday 5am AEDT)

Dallas Fans can finally rejoice as Tony Romo has finally returned after breaking his collarbone. Since being injured the Cowboys lost seven games straight and they are in a position where they will need to win the majority of their remaining games and can’t afford a loss this weekend against the Dolphins.

Whilst the improvement will be obvious in the Cowboys passing game with Romo back in the side, it will be their running game where they can make the most damage as the Dolphins are currently conceding over 130 yards per game on the ground. The threat that Romo will pose will force their defence to be wary of the passing which should free up their running game and if they can keep it evenly balanced they will be able to reap the rewards.

Cincinnatti Bengals at Arizona Cardinals (Monday 12.30pm AEDT)

The Bengals are coming off their first loss of the season in a game where they didn’t cross for a touchdown. Andy Dalton had an off game however he can easily blame is receivers for a couple of costly drops especially from tight end Tyler Eifert who had been having a break out season up until that point. I believe it was a loss the Bengals had to have to allow them to refocus and realise they aren’t invincible. The perfect way for them to bounce back will be against the Cardinals this weekend however it will be a tough ask as they have looked very strong, especially against the Seahawks in Seattle.

The Cardinals offence is currently the best in the NFL as they have averaged 421 yards per game this season and it is largely due to the balance they can create with Chris Johnson at running back averaging over 80 yards per game whilst Palmer is having an MVP type season at quarterback.

The Bengals will be a lot better than they were on Monday night, however Palmer showed he can lead his team to a victory whilst Dalton was unable to do the same. Stick with the Cardinals in this one.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots (Tuesday 12.30pm AEDT)

Since the bye break for the Bills they have been able to hit a bit of form as they have won their two previous games. They beat their conference rivals the Jets last week in a match, which has likely kept their playoff hopes alive, and the task becomes harder this week against the undefeated Patriots.

However, a lot has changed since these two teams met in week 2 with Tom Brady losing protection in the offensive line and losing attacking threats with his most targeted wide receiver Julian Edelman breaking a bone in his foot that will see him sidelined for the next 6-8 weeks.

The Bills have a big chance to be the first team to beat the Patriots and it all comes down to putting as much pressure on Brady as possible and they will be able to do that with half of the offensive line being injured. This will force Brady into looking for quick passes but without Edelman the task is made even harder and the Bills will pick up the upset victory.
