2015/16 NBA Betting Tips – February 24
Welcome back NBA punters, it’s been good to get an All-Star break freshen up in to gear up for the second half of the season. Speaking of the All-Star weekend, how good was that dunk contest? Aaron Gordon was awfully unlucky not to win in our opinion.
A couple of games on tomorrow’s small slate that we like. Our best bets are below!
New Orleans Pelicans @ Washington Wizards – 11am AEDT
Two teams who have underperformed against market expectation thus far are the New Orleans Pelicans and Washington Wizards. On the flip side though, both teams have recently shown signs of life and appear on the way up! Anthony Davis is coming off arguably the best individual performance we’ve seen all year putting up 59 and 20, and defending Andre Drummond on the other end for four quarters.
This will be an interesting game and it really does look to be a flip of the coin decision. We can concede a slight edge to the Wizards given the home advantage (that they barely possess) but the spread is too high at the moment.

Brooklyn Nets @ Portland Trailblazers – 2pm AEDT
Damien Lillard is on an absolute tear of late. He was an All-Star snub and is playing like he’s got a point to prove (something he’s done all of his career). Every game from now on has dramatic playoff implications for the Blazers and at home where they boast an 18-11 record.
The Nets have a new GM who didn’t panic under the pressure of the trade deadline and kept the team as is which was the right move given they have limited assets and no deal was imminent. The Blazers are gunning for their season high sixth straight win and we think the market is overreacting to the streak. 11.5 points is 2.5 too high and we are backing the Nets to keep this one close. Brook Lopez has been one of the best players in the NBA since Christmas and he should fancy his match-up against the young Blazers front court.
