2018 NRL Round 11 Betting Multi

May 16, 2018 by Posted in NRL Tips

The NRL season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches for our NRL Round 11 Betting Multi.

Panthers vs Tigers (Thursday, May 17 7:50pm AEST)
The first leg of our NRL multi will start at the foot of the mountains with a Panthers victory. They hold a 12-5 record as the home team since 2016 and they’re also undefeated at Panthers Stadium in 2018. Now for this match, they also get Nathan Cleary back from injury and he’ll move Maloney to five-eighth. During his absence, they didn’t really miss a beat so they should enjoy his presence once again. Furthermore, they’re 2-0 against the Tigers since last season. The Tigers are a bit inconsistent and hard to read sometimes. They got smashed by the Warriors 2 rounds ago but rebounded with an 8 point win over the Cowboys. But scoring could be a problem against the tough Panthers D. The Tigers are scoring under 20 points per match on average in 2018 and that should be the difference in this matchup.

Broncos vs Roosters (Friday, May 18 7:50pm AEST)
After the Roosters thrashed the Warriors 32-0, I’ll be backing them to make it 3 straight wins and to avoid a 6th straight loss against the Broncos at Suncorp. Brisbane were pretty terrible last week against Manly, a team that had lost 5 straight matches. Now against the Roosters, they’ve lost Jack Bird and Alex Glenn. Their attack has struggled all season and it’s hard to see that improving in this one, especially after the Roosters earned a shutout in NZ. Cooper Cronk will find holes in the Brisbane defence and this forward pack should be able to dominate. Which will open the field for their outside backs.

Cowboys vs Rabbitohs (Saturday, May 19 5:30pm AEST)
South Sydney will be in the third leg of our NRL multi after a great performance over the 1st placed Dragons. They held the best attack in the NRL to just 10 points and the return of Sam Burgess should be pleasing for this forward pack. So they have a 4-1 record in their last 5. They rank 3rd in the NRL for points scored and they should enjoy playing the struggling Cowboys. After reaching the Grand Final in 2017, this side has looked anything but. They have a number of out of form players and their attack just isn’t creating enough doubt for the defence. They’re scoring just 16.2 points on average and also have a 2-3 record in home matches. They were poor last time out against the Raiders at home and the Rabbitohs will likely make them pay near the try-line.

Dragons vs Raiders (Sunday, May 20 2:00pm AEST)
The second last leg of this NRL multi will be a rebound win by the St George Dragons. They were pretty poor against Souths last week, but the difference this week is the Raiders don’t have the best defence. Which is a concern against Widdop, Hunt and their forward pack. They still have an 8-2 record and they rank 1st in the NRL for points scored. Meanwhile, the Raiders are 1-3 in away matches and they rank 10th in the NRL for points allowed. They’ve been run down in the second half alot in 2018 so the Dragons will likely do the same.

Sharks vs Bulldogs (Sunday, May 20 4:10pm AEST)
Our multi ends in the Shire with an expected victory for the in-form Sharks. The home side is sitting 7th on the ladder and they’re aiming for win number 5 in a row. At home, they’re 3-2 and enjoy playing in day matches (2-0). They have scored 20+ points in 3 of their last 4 wins, so that should be the main factor in them beating the Bulldogs. Canterbury is a poor attacking team as they rank 15th in the NRL with just 15 points scored per match. They also struggle after playing in a win with a 0-3 record. They beat the Eels last week, but the Sharks are a much better side. Andrew Fifita is a bull and he’ll be looking to out-play Aaron Woods. They also get Paul Gallen back. So take on the Sharks.
